Hello everyone! My name is Amy Hallman, and this is my second semester serving as secretary for TRR. I am a junior at LCSC, majoring in publishing arts. This is my third semester in TRR, and I plan to continue until I graduate in 2027.
I was asked to be the secretary when our former secretary, Anissa Sheppard, graduated in the spring of 2025. I was quite nervous because I had never done something like this before. My original tasks were to run our social media pages and create our weekly newsletter. That has changed a little with our new newsletter features.
I was notified of our recent changes to the newsletter early last semester. I was excited about the new format but nervous about the amount of work it was going to be. Jennifer, TRR’s advisor, suggested that we ask a team member to help.
Kinsey Cook, a fellow editor, was willing to help me out. In class, both Lanessa Watkins and Baeli Kinsley were interested in helping as well. Now we are officially the TRR’s Newsletter Team. Kinsey has also taken over the social media posting; she is way better at it than I am.
I am incredibly grateful for all they do; they have made this newsletter transition way less daunting.
